I blend my expertise for wine with my true Passion for my beloved Venice!
I am an Italian qualified FISAR Sommelier and a licensed tour leader. Food enthusiast and grape nut, I'm a native of Venice where my great-grandparents owned one of
the most prestigious bars in St Mark’s Square.
After graduating at the University of Venice in Economy and Management of Arts, I decided to follow my istincts and after few years I got my diploma of Sommelier (2008).
I've studied organic wine in France, receiving a Master& degree in 2012, and worked in one of the most famous enoteca of Venice.
In 2020 I successfully passed with distinction the Wine & Spirit Education Trust (WSET).
At present I also leads wine courses for a few American Military bases in Italy.
I enjoy sharing my knowledge about food, wine and Venetian culture to help visitors embracing the city from a different perspective.
Fluent in the Venetian dialect, I will introduce you to the local farmer at the Rialto Market and show you how to choose fresh fish from Nino, my favorite fishmonger.
I love my job because I love Venice, its hints and shapes but, first of all, I strongly believe that the culinary heritage is an essential part of its history.

Giorgia Chiozzi
After completing her Bachelor in Communication Science with a thesis about Wine Tourism Marketing in the Collio Region, her passion for wine grew stronger and led her to live several experiences in Italy and abroad. Back from her worldwide journey, she got her Master Sommelier Diploma - AIS / WSA Level 3 certification - and also a Tour Guide License in Venice.
Nowadays, her job is finally a combination of the two great passions of her life: wine and travel.
Nadia and Giovanna
Nadia studied art history at Venice’s Ca’ Foscari University and have been a licensed tourist guide since 2009. She worked in France at a contemporary art museum and also lived in New York City for a while.
Giovanna has a degree in Art History and a master’s degree in Marketing and Communication. Licensed tour guide since 2012, she spent many years in Paris, Brussels and Vienna.
